We use the k9-4 mini digger, but don’t be fooled by the word mini. Due to the size of this machine, many people have frowned upon it only to gasp at the true abilities, once demonstrated.
| The K9-4 will go through gaps that many mini diggers will never even attempt. Basically we will go most places where only hand labour could go before. Imagine the old problem of not being able to get into the backyard of a townhouse to dig the hole for a splash pool. If the gap is less than 800mm, we’ll get through. The wheel base of 800mm (with narrow wheels fitted) enables the K9-4 to go through a normal domestic doorway, taking with it all the equipment required for a job. |

Furthermore the K9-4 weighs only 920kg, which will not adversely impact on existing landscaping. Heavier diggers will destroy lawns and features. Tracks can also be fitted to the K9-4 which will further reduce potential damage to landscaping and features. |
The K9-4 digger is powered by a 27 hp (20kW) Yanmar diesel engine. This in turn powers two hydraulic pumps, producing hydraulic pressure to the extent of 235Bar (3400psi). The hydraulic pump output is 47 l/min. This is more than adequate for a machine this size.
The unique configuration of the K9-4 package makes it possible to bring the whole capability to the site at once. All attachments for the K9-4 digger fits onto a designated place on the purpose-built trailer. Hence, no excuses of “I’ll bring the right tool with me and do the job tomorrow“. All the tools are available when the rig stops on site. Within five minutes from arriving on site, the K9-4 will be operational. It is both operated and supported by one person only.
